1. Alloy 31 Bolt screw material introduction

HT pipe can produce qualified alloy 31 bolt of all kinds of cold formed and hot forged. The forms are hexagon bolts, hex heavy bolts, socket cap bolts, anchor bolts, and other non-standard bolts according to customer drawings. The size ranges from M8-M100 in METRIC and 3/8” to 3-1/2” in INCH, with varies length.

Alloy 31 is an iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with nitrogen addition. It has a pitting resistance in high chloride environments between those of super-austenitic stainless steels and nickel alloys. The alloy has very good corrosion resistance in mixed acid and high chloride environments. The material is approved in ISO 15156/ NACE MR0175 to test level VI for sour gas service.
Applications:
Chemical, food, pharmaceutical and plastics industries, heat exchangers, mixing tanks, pickling equipment, synthetic rubber manufacturing equipment, pumps, valves and piping.
