    Aluminum alloy battery tray / lower box of battery pack is mainly made of steel and aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy is favored by more and more automobile OEMs and manufacturers around the world because of its low density and various forming processes, which can meet the requirements of electric vehicle lightweight. At present, aluminum alloy battery tray has two process schemes: integral casting and aluminum profile welding. FSW has been widely used in the manufacture of battery tray because of its non melting, automation, intelligence, environment-friendly and integrated characteristics. As early as 2011, our team developed aluminum battery tray for German Renault automobile, which can realize the automatic welding production of aluminum battery tray. It is the first FSW aluminum alloy battery tray in the world. In recent years, our team has developed more than 30 kinds of aluminum battery trays for many domestic main engine manufacturers and their supporting enterprises, and invented equipment specially used for FSW welding of aluminum battery trays, which has increased the production efficiency by more than 100%.

    With friction stir welding and die casting as the core technology, Cheeven produces many products such as friction stir welding water-cooled parts and die-casting products. In 2012, our team provided two standardized Dragon Gate friction stir welding equipment for an automobile manufacturing enterprise in Germany to manufacture aluminum alloy battery tray products of new energy vehicles, which successfully opened the German market.
